Warning: this butter is addicting. We love it heated up (over the fire when we're camping!) and paired with fresh bread. Just serve it in a bowl and let everyone dip their bread until it’s gone. We recommend using our Organic Seaweed Seasoning. (or any of the Daybreak seaweed blends!)
Ingredients:

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature

1 Tbsp. Organic Seaweed Seasoning

zest of half a lemon, finely grated

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

1 tsp. black pepper

pinch of cayenne, optional

2-4 tsp. toasted sesame seeds, optional
Directions:

Mix butter, seaweed seasoning, lemon zest, lemon juice, and pepper. If using cayenne or sesame seeds, add as well. Mix until well blended.

If using immediatley, the compound butter is ready to use! For a chilled butter log, transfer butter mixture to a sheet of parchment paper. Shape into a small log, by spooning butter into a long thick log shape on the parchment paper. Fold paper over and roll into a cylinder. Seal the ends and chill until firm.

When using, take out of fridge, let come to room temperature, and enjoy on bread, toast, salmon, pasta, or meat!
